Cinema Mode
AUTO-TRACKING · ZOOM INTERPOLATION
When a new seismic event is detected, Cinema Mode automatically repositions the globe camera — smooth zoom interpolation locks the view onto the epicenter. The Earth becomes a live broadcast.
REST-API Proxy
HARDENED ENDPOINT · RATE-LIMIT SHIELD
All external API calls run server-side through a hardened /vgt-api/vge/v1/events endpoint. Your visitors' IPs never reach USGS, EMSC or GeoNet. Zero client exposure.
Procedural Audio

The built-in synthesizer generates ambient drones, magnitude-scaled alert sweeps and tactile click transients entirely through the Web Audio API. No MP3s, no CDN, no latency. Pure synthesis.
Self-Healing Daemon
WP-CRON · DB INTEGRITY CHECKS
The backend daemon runs every 5 minutes via WP-Cron, performing automatic database integrity checks and self-healing routines. Normalized events are stored with O(1) UUID indexing — built for scale.

Globe.gl wraps Three.js into a photorealistic 60fps Earth renderer. High-res night-side texture and topology map preloaded for zero rendering latency. Events plotted as live markers on the globe surface.
